We started with the lobster bisque and fried oysters. The lobster bisque was very good, the fried oysters were outstanding - very juicy and fresh, full of flavor.
Our entrees were a bit disappointing, although still good. We had the linguine with shrimp, which had too much wine in the sauce, and the beef wellington was very good, although the filet did not have enough flavor.
The wine list is limited, but the one merlot they serve by the glass was very nice.
After reading the write up, I was hoping this place would be in the same league with IL PIZZICO in Rockville, but it is not close to being in the same class for service, ambiance and especially not food.
But K Town Bistro is worth a visit, and I would return just for the fried oysters and to try a new entree.
