Tried to check in at 2:45 pm and was told that check in was not until 3:00. Clerk said to come back at 3:00 and she would see if a room was available. Went back to lobby at 3:00 and was told that room was not ready and I should come back at 3:30. Really? So if I come back at 3:30 are you going to tell me to come back at 4:00? When I ask how it was possible that not one room was clean at 3:10 pm. I was told that there was other hotels in the area and I could leave and go to one of them. Are you kidding me? Really? You don't need my business? Maybe that is why your parking lot and rooms are empty! The clerk was as rude and mean as anyone I have ever seen in the hospitallity business, she was actually hostile and very argumentative. There was no way I was going to stay here after my confrontation with this angry person! I'm still trying to figure out why someone with this type of personality would ever be in the hotel business. I know that I cannot be the first person to complain about this woman being so unaccommodating. I decided to leave and went to the Red Roof Inn in Hanover, Md. and found that the staff there was just the opposite, very friendly, and efficient. Also the hotel is much nicer and cleaner and in a much better neighborhood. If you have to choose between these two hotels, the choice should be very easy!

I just wanted to reach out to you once again and apologize for the experience you had while trying to check in our property. Although we are under renovation I feel terrible that you feel you were not treated like a valued guest and that we were not able to accommodate you at that time.
