“Not so great anymore”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2012

We have frequented the Laurrapin Grill many times and used to take our guests visiting to this restaurant. However, due to many disappointments we no longer go there but to other more accommodating restaurants in Havre de Grace. They used to have drink specials but they were quite deceiving when we got the bill--our comments on the comment card went unnoticed! Many times we have asked for a little change in an item menu but the answer has always been "no". The food is fairly good but expensive so for our money we would much rather support other restaurants who try to take care of their guests and want them to be happy and return in the future.

“A Gem in an Unpretentious Place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2012

We stopped here for lunch while driving on I-95 because of good reviews by other Trip Advisor reviewers. They were right!! The wide variety of choices on the menu were surprising. One of us had the terrific Laurrap Falafel and the other a Veggie Strudel, with accompanying sauce worth licking the plate for (I didn't, but sure wanted to). When we travel near Havre de Grace again it will definitely be on our itinerary.

“Cute Decor”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2012 via mobile

We were surprised at how cute the place was. I loved the tables, lights and windows. It was small and rather noisy but the waitress was friendly and helpful. Our food came and was very good. That's when it went south. Apparently a large group came in and we were forgotten. We wanted to try one of their homemade desserts. We waited patiently for our waitress after awhile she came and took our order. We waited again. She returned to say that one dessert was gone. We quickly ordered again. And waited and waited and waited. When I got up to ask for the bill she returned. The manager apologized but it was a little too late. I hope this was just an off time. The place was cute. The food was good. The service...not so good.

“Best Local Restaurant, maybe best in Harford county”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2012

I have been here twice, I live about 2 blocks away so it a nice short walk to downtown Havre de Grace to eat there at Laurrapin. Both meals were delicious, ordered goulash for Octoberfest one time and Argentine pot roast the second visit. The presentation of the food is first class and so is the combinations of fresh ingredients and flavors. It is kind of pricey, that is my only caveat! But it is well worth it if you want an interesting and delicious meal in a comfortable atmosphere.
I would call the style of the restaurant, Nouveax American as there menu is eclectic and wonderful!
