My wife and I enjoyed dinning here. I have always heard good things about this place , well after visiting last week, I am looking forward to returning. The food was delicious. Lots of crab in the crab cake... great prices too. We shall return. Job well done Timbuktu.

I went to this restaurant based on things I heard from people and Tripadvisor's rating. We were really disappointed. The two positive things: The crab dip was really good and our server was very nice and attentive. The only reason I'm giving this a "2" is because of the crab dip was so good it saved the rating slightly.

The decor of the restaurant was very old and it had an unappealing smell. I'm not sure what it was but it distracted me the entire meal. My husband ordered shrimp and steak and the steak looked like an old shoe. He ordered it medium and it was very dry. Probably the worst steak I've ever seen. The shrimp was chewy and greasy.

I ordered the famous crabcakes...Fail! They were huge - the size of my palm, but they had a lot of mushy filler in them. I was able to pick out the lump crab meat and leave the mushy filler. That's how you know it's too much filler when you can pick around it. It was by far one of the worst crab cakes I've ever had. I would not go back to this restaurant again.
