“Great entertainment at Rams Head but slots are tight...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012 via mobile

I've been here a couple of times but last Saturday was the best so far. I went there with friends for a girls night out. They ate at the buffet and they said it was good. I was late so I didn't get to try that. We had a few drinks and watched a live band at Rams Head Center Stage and it was free. I tried some of the penny slots but minimum bets are 25 - 40 cents and they don't pay so I didn't bother trying the other machines.
The place is clean since it's still new. I hope they can keep that up. Service and security is average and for a casino this size they need to improve on that.
This casino is right next to the mall which is a plus if you want to go shopping or go to the food court for cheaper eats.
Overall you can come here for the entertainment and restaurants but don't spend too much at the slots.

“Very well done.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2012

This is one of the biggest and nicest free-standing casinos I've seen outside Vegas. It's got hundreds and hundreds, maybe thousands of slots. They don't allow card dealers in the state, so they have video roulette, poker, baccarat and other tables to simulate the same experience. It's got about five different restaurants in it and is about 20 feet from Arundel Mills Mall. It's located beneath a 3-floor parking deck, so it's not really too congested getting in or out.

My only complaints are that I prefer the traditional slots with only 1-3 paylines and three rollers. There are A LOT of video slots with like 50 paylines and they're really confusing. Also, pretty much all of the penny and nickel slots have minimum credits required to be played. So, if you're playing a penny machine, it may require 40 lines to be played each turn. So, it's not actually a 1 cent machine, it's a 40-cent machine. It eats up your money much faster.

“A fun place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2012

Enjoyed our time at this casino. So many slots to choose from and good video poker options as well. Only complaint is no free alcoholic beverages. Free soft drinks though. Good location near mall if you want a break to take a walk.

“Amazing!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2012

This place is huge! I was amazed at the number of games in this casino. There is something for everyone. I'm not a big gambler but I'll play the slot machines on occasion, and they have so many to choose from that it's overwhelming. Folks who like table games may be disappointed that they're all electronic, but that's supposed to change soon. Overall it was very impressive.

“Low Payoffs”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2012

The average casino pays 87 to 93% of what they take in on slots. According to MD Lottery, MD Live pays only 7%. Poor cocktail service and no soda machines I could find. But it’s a very nice place and I had a nice time, and I even walked away with some money, Don't expect to leave with winnings, minimum bets on the penny machines is 30-40 cents. The excitement of a variety of slots is almost a sensor overload. Parking garage made parking easy and a short walk to elevator. Be prepared to loose your money nut overall was fun.
