When I checked In they said they were overbooked and asked if I would be willing to switch to the SpringHill. I said I couldn't as I was traveling with a group for work, but I wish I did. My room had a portable air conditioner unit for some reason which created a hole in my window which allowed hot muggy air to filter in. I should have complained at that point, but I just wanted to stay for a few days and not think to much after long work days. I put on the do not disturb magnet as I do not like housekeeping or anyone coming into my room while I am staying at a hotel until I leave. When I came back one day, they were into my room to replace the air conditioner, no notice or anything. I had personal stuff - nothing valuable - but still, all over the room. They also threw a towel I used to plug a hole in the window on my bed. I did not appreciate that at all and complained to the front desk. The manager did call and leave a message on my room phone but I was not there to answer. The breakfast and wifi were good, but still very upset they came into my room without any notice!!
