“New hotel in the area, great bargin, good food, beware of windy nights”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012

Overall great hotel. Very inexpensive for what you get. Free Internet, decent in room coffee maker, responsive staff, large rooms, comfy bed, big TV with a load of premium channels, nice bathroom with great walk in shower. Bathroom could use a heater but otherwise above the pack. Only down side was on the first night when it was windy. Something on the side of the building or on the roof was vibrating causing a very loud noise to the point of vibrating the room. Brought it to the attention of the staff who offered to change the room but also said it would not be a problem on our 2nd night. We stayed put, they were right. Good restaurant, reasonably priced, much better than the usual hotel based restaurants.

Room Tip: If windy stay away from the top floor.

This was one of the nicest hotels my family has stayed at on vacation. From the lobby to the room everything was very clean and modern. The room had very nice bedding and super comfortable beds. The bathroom was spacious and had towels that were super soft and a good size. We stayed in a double queen room and were traveling with two children. The price was very reasonable for the comfort we received. Everyone loved the hotel and wished it was a chain so we could stay at another on our next vacation. I would highly recommend this property.

if you ask for a King bed, you will actually receive a Queen. Just because it has one bed in the room (I stayed in room 529 on 12/22) does not make it a "King". As someone who traveles a lot and has a CA King bed at home, I am aware of the difference between the two. The King size has a width dimension of 76" whereas the Queen is 60". Attention hotel management/staff, when i make my hotel reservations i expect receive it or just tell me that one is not available. In addition, the front desk staff tried to tell me its was a standard King and not a CA King which I proceeded to laugh. Please note, a California King bed is longer but less wide compared to a regular King size bed. The dimensions of a California King bed are 84" length and 72" wide. Overall, nice hotel but can be better...

Dear Rodney:

Thank you so much for your review and for your feedback. I am glad you loved our hotel with the exception of the mattress size. We list Room 529 as a Standard King Size bed that has a King size mattress. This is the same King size that all hotels use. To be sure, I took a measuring tape and went up to room 529 and measured the mattress. It has a length of 82 inches and a width of 72 inches. This mattress is definitely not a queen. I apologize about the confusion and would love to discuss it further with you. Please call me directly to 410-579-9836.

Happy Holidays

Based on the previous comments from the other reviewers, I'm not sure what I can add, but I do want to echo their praise.

First off, the property is lovely from the moment you walk through the front doors. The hotel check-in experience was flawless! We had meetings for 3 days here and those went off without a hitch. This is the first time I've been in a large hotel meeting room where the temperature was actually COMFORTABLE (neither too hot or cold) the entire time.

We ate breakfast & lunch here every day in our meeting room...and again, flawless. The menu was varied enough to have something for everyone, perfectly presented and unobtrusive wait staff providing anything & everything we needed.

The rooms are definitely a cut above the "hotel norm." It was a pleasure to have some quiet time after the meetings as well as a perfect night's rest.

We did eat in the on-site restaurant for dinner one night...and absolutely no complaints! We even had small firepots for roasting marshmallows as well as graham crackers & chocolates for 'smores.

Our entire group enjoyed this experience and I can't wait to go back!!!

Perfect is a truly deserving adjective for The Hotel. The rooms are clean, modern, updated, and comfy. Your experience is bound to be surpassed whether you are on business, with friends or family. Free shuttle to and from BWI airport as well as to nearby mall and eateries are the cherries on top. We recommend this place and hope to return when we are in the area.
