“Less than 2 minutes from the rental car facility”

This is a typical Hilton Garden Inn – clean, comfortable and the breakfast is terrific. It’s main attraction for me is that it's less than a 2 minute drive from the rental car facility at BWI, its right down the street from the Arundel Mills Casino / Mall and it’s in the south Baltimore technology corridor. This means there are a lot of great dining options in the immediate area and I avoid the I-95 traffic.

Room Tip: Reserve a handicapped room - they are bigger and sometimes cheaper.

Overall the Hotel is great, but because of bad weather the accomodations were challenging. Water Pipe Busted, Cold winter blast in bldg, and fire alarms..im sure that does not happen regularly. The food was excellent and the hotel staff are awesome. The cooks, took time and care to prepare a great breakfast. More points for Bad weather and mishaps should be automatic.

Unfortunately as you may know the frigid temperatures during your stay briefly interrupted our guest experience however fortunately with the quick response of the hotel team the hotel was running 100% within 3 hours of the pipe burst.

We stayed at this location because we trust the Hilton name and thought it was a good halfway point between locations for us. A must for our children in January included an indoor pool. My husband called to confirm that this location did indeed have an indoor pool and confirmed hours as well, as being open until 10pm on Saturday. All went well upon arrival and we attempted to access the pool with our room key to no avail at 9:10pm with three antsy children. When we mentioned this to the front desk staff , they regretfully informed us that the pool had closed at 9pm. Of course, we were extremely disappointed and frustrated to hear this, especially after confirming the hours of the pool as being open via phone and with the front desk. Apparently, we were misquoted. The staff, particularly David at the front desk, and Wendy, the lifeguard, attempted to rectify this immediately by offering to open the pool for us (as required by state law that a lifeguard must be present). Wendy was willing to do this, and the managers approved. We were flabbergasted that staff would go above and beyond to these lengths to help us and it really helped to ease the long car trip for our kids, who had just been looking forward to a quick dip in the pool for 6 hours. David and Wendy were exceptional and we were truly impressed. Additionally, although the hotel is undergoing some renovations, the space was clean, modern and comfortable. Breakfast for kids 5 and under is free, also a big plus which helped our budget. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Minutes to the airport, next door to Arundel Mills (shopping, dining, games/casino, etc) abs close proximity to Baltimore/DC.

The rooms and beds are up to Hilton standards, but this particular HGI needs a number of fixes before I will stay there again. Front desk and breakfast area appear understaffed (or not scheduled properly) to handle the number of guests at this large hotel. The breakfast area was quickly out of space in the morning; coffee ran out twice; food delivery was slow; and table busing was really slow. However, the worst experience is the location of the breakfast area right next to the front door so guests are blasted with cold air every 20 - 30 seconds. There are ways to contain the cold air within the entry way, but that seems to have escaped the bldg engineers. And forget Wi-Fi service unless you're within 3 feet of the desk in the room. As soon as you move towards the bed or the hall, the signal drops and you lose your connection. It's no better in the lobby. And don't expect any throughput when you are connected. I think the equipment is old 802.11a only. They need to seriously upgrade and install repeaters to be considered as reasonable for business travelers. Needless to say, I was very disappointed with this particular HGI. The Airport HGI is about 3 miles away. I'll stay there next time.

The following staff exhibited exceptional customer service- kwamina - night auditor, david hamilton, Verol always making sure breakfast is served and Magda. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Maryland

My wife and inlaws were very impressed by the staff and rooms at this Hilton. Also the shuttle bus service was a real plus during our stay.If any of our friends or family travel around this area we will make sure we mention this particular Hilton Hotel. Treat yourself and stay

We booked this hotel for a New Years Eve show at nearby Cancun Cantina. We were greeted very warmly by the staff who were very busy at the time. We were more than excited to learn the hotel shuttle could take us and pick us up from the venue. The breakfast was also a fabulous treat. Will definitely stay here again. Cheers!
