Disliked - attitude of waitress. My wife asked if the string beans were fresh, the waitress said yes - fresh from the can as can be!

“Good Family Style Restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2013 via mobile

Easy Access Off I68 Or I70. This Is Your Local Family Style Restaurant In A Small And Quaint Town. If You Don't Want Fast Food But Want Good Food Quickly, This Is The Place To Stop. We Eat Here Every Time We Travel Through Hancock. on this visit the Fried Chicken Was Not Overly Breaded And Was Juicy And Tender. Liver And Onions Was Cooked Just Right. Service Was Quick And Efficient With Hard Working Staff.

“Wonderful Lunch Stop”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2013

When you stop along the interstate in Hancock, you will drive a couple of miles (easy drive) between where you get off and back on. There are several options, but this is the BEST choice. A good menu, great food, generous portions, quick service, a wonderful salad bar, and homemade dessert options are guaranteed! Further, the prices are VERY reasonable and they hve a large parking lot. A perfect stop on a long trip (and with ordering stuffed peppers, etc the leisurely stop was about 1/2 hour -- salad bar and sandwich would be even less). Don't miss it.

“Good Food Great Value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2013

Great restaurant with a large menu and new dishes. The service is excellent and fast. The have freshly baked pies that are wonderful and less expensive then other locations in town. Great Value. They have a new Seafood Feast on Fridays that you won't want to miss.
