“Most poorly run hotel ever.”

Service was beyond terrible. Rooms were not good their was holes and cracks in walls. Air conditioners sucked. Burns on tubs and toilets. Toilet over flowed for no reason. Took over an hour to hear anything back kept having to switch rooms. Elevator kept breaking. I am currently staying in MOTEL 6 AND ITS ALOT NICER AND CLEANER AND BETTER SERVICE. Days inn threatned if we were not checked out in an hr they would not refund me back the rest of the week I paid for not my fault their black consierge was very rude and racist. The manager was also very rude. I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN AND NEVER REFERR THEM TO ANYONE EVER. TURNING THEM INTO THE BERTTER BUSINESS BUREAU.

We are totally offended at the racism in this review. We have reported it to TripAdvisor and they are allowing it to stand as posted. For anyone reading this response, none of our staff is racist in any way, nor would it ever be tolerated if it were the case. And with this particular guest, our staff went out of their way to accomodate this guest and she only began making racist comments after we asked her to leave because of several problems she caused at our hotel. She caused other guests to be woke up in the middle of the night, managed to temporarily halt our elevator, and snuck extra guests into the hotel. So we asked her to leave in the morning, refunding the remainder of her money, and that's when the racist remarks started. If you are personally offended by this hotel review, please flag it for offensive nature and hopefully TripAdvisor will see that it's entirely inappropriate and remove it as we have asked them to do.

This hotel was okay for a one night stay. If it was going to be an extended stay we would have gone elsewhere. The hotel room was passable. When we checked into our room it did smell like body order, but disapated once the room was opened for awhile.

We spent three nights in this motel while visiting Gettysburg for the 150 anniversary. It was adequate, clean, although the bedding was a bit worn. Staff was pleasant. No pool, but it sits on the banks of Antietam Creek. Easy to access restaurants.

Last minute overnight for family reunion. Furnishings very beat & badly in need of upgrade. You get what you pay for I guess. Seems ownership not too interested in repeat business. Room seemed well worn and burn holes on comforter and on bathtub

Smaller privately-owned hotels are not able to purchase everything brand new every year. We have been working hard to improve the overall stay quality including the furnishings, however we cannot compete with larger corporate properties like Marriotts and Hiltons. We do appreciate our many repeat customers and did address the issues you mentioned at checkout. I'm sorry that you were not completely satisfied with your stay. Have a great day!

This hotel was a good value, was clean, and offered average facilities. Fine for a one night stay on a road trip. Breakfast did not offer much of a selection.
