We stayed here again on a two day road trip from Georgia to New England. We liked it just as much the second time! Maybe more. It was a warm mid April Thursday night so there weren't many guests. Another reviewer mentioned the "lonely" atmosphere. I hope this place has more business that what I've seen because it really is a good hotel. Even though it is a newly remodeled/renovated hotel, the two things that need changing that would help a LOT are (1) the lighting and (2) the landscaping. They used the new fluorescent lighting to be "green" but they give the corridors a weird yellowish cast (maybe the wall paint is wrong for them, too). And they are just not bright enough. But the decor is really good when you look at it. And the landscaping is practically non existent giving the place an undeserved downscale look outside. BUT, the furniture, the carpets, the flat screen TVs, the wall prints, the draperies, the employees and the service are really nice. The lady who does the "free" breakfast seems to take pride and it shows. I've had some pretty crummy free hotel breakfasts lately but this one is a bright spot. Nothing elegant but everything to get you going. Look for a coupon in the interstate coupon books. Price is about $59 and well worth it.
