They called us a week after it was public knowledge in the local area apparently, to let us know our reservation in November is cancelled. The building will be demolished - no more hotel at this location. So we haven't stayed there- just thought others looking at this should know the hotel no longer exists.

While I may not consider staying here during an extended stay in Hagerstown, this was the perfect place for a one-night, budget option while passing through. The building and public areas have aged from previous splendor, but the rooms are clean, unassumingly decorated and sufficient for a comfortable rest.
The breakfast is generously portioned, but not particularly delicious or healthy. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is a great value for the area, but the value appears to attract a lot of high-school sports teams and their families, which can fill up the hotel quickly.
Overall, this in an inoffensive budget option that I would happily stay in again if I happen to pass through Hagerstown.

This was our first vacation in Maryland and the staff here helped make it a memorable one, The hospitality we received from all the staff was warm and genuine. They gave us tips on the best way to get around in D.C., which was invaluable, and told us about good places to eat, do laundry etc.
The room was clean and the beds very comfortable. The A/C was cold and cooled the room quickly which was nice with the temps in the mid 90s. We loved the complementary breakfast which included eggs, waffles, french toast, potatoes, sausage and more. The WiFi was fast and easy to connect to. Thank you Hagerstown Hotel and Convention Center for helping to make our vacation a great one. We will definitely stay here again when in the area.

I was in town for the motorcycle races during the heat wave. Went to check in and was told to come back in an hour. When I returned they told me my room was ready. Upon entering the room it was not cleaned, no towells, bed not made. Had to wait on cleaning. Then the air conditioner did not work. They did move me to another room and was given a one drink ticket for my troubles. Upon entering the Lounge it also did not have any A/C and had to wait on the bartender for over 5 minutes while he closed the pool. He had the beer on ice do to the cooler not working. There were 10 other patrons in there redeeming their tickets for a drink do to issues they had. I've stayed here before but never again.
