The entire staff was friendly almost to a fault! They were great! No problems making a reservation online and checking in. I stayed on the first floor, which must have been previous smoking rooms because the entire hallway smelled heavy of cigarette smoke. Once in my room, the smell wasn't bad. I had two double beds. The room was cozy and nice. It didn't have a microwave oven or small refrig, but it did have cable TV, A/C, and free internet. Also included was a ticket per adult for a free breakfast in the morning. The shower and sink worked well, no issue. The TV had two remotes, one for the cable and one for the TV. The TV needs to be set on Ch3. When I settled in for the night, I moved the chair in front of the A/C so the air wouldn't blow on my face at night. I found candy wrappers and nacho cheese chips under the chair and either cat or dog dookie in the back corner. But, there were no live bugs, nothing crawling around. The sheets were clean and so were the towels. The breakfast was a sit down, order off the menu. There were several choices (pancake breakfast, fruit and cereal, egg breakfast or waffle bar). I elected to have the waffle bar, which was make my own waffles. They had a bowl of blueberries, whipped cream and butter to go with the waffles. This was included in the breakfast ticket. The family ordered the pancakes. I wasn't sure how this situation worked with gratuity so I left a tip afterwards. The pool was closed, no water in it, which surprised me since it was Memorial Day weekend. But, I was there for one night and just needed a clean room and a good breakfast for the next day. I got both. I'd stay again because the price was very good and the staff was very friendly.
