“Great ambiance on a balmy night out on the deck. Food adequate.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2013

We began our sail from Galesville MD to Cape Cod with a meal at Thursday's. It was a lovely evening, warm with cooling breeze. Evleryone was out on the deck. And the crowd was having a good time. Our party did as well. We ate at a picnic bench and enjoyed cold draft beer. The menu was large and interesting. Obviously a crab paradise (we come from lobster country), half our party ordered crabcakes. For whatever reason, none found them particular good and none finished them. And just a couple of weeks earlier, we had had exceptional crabcakes in DC. Nonetheless, this was a fun place--not haute cuisine--and I would favor returning in the future. Just order things that are not easily messed up or require significant culinary talents.

“Friendly, on-the-water, local......”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

Seated on the deck, above the water, cold beer, sunshine, friendly staff and guests. Consistently good food, throughout the year. Okay, so it's fifteen minutes from the house, but we, and everyone we've taken, has become a fan!

“Beautiful!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2013

We sat at a picnic table at the edge of the water, beautiful! The food was yummy, service was awesome, they made a small mistake with our order and instantly brought out a beer on the house to make up for it! We were delighted, would've stayed all day if we could-- we will definitely be back.

“Untapped Potential”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2013

This place has tremendous potential to become the premier location on the West River. It offers great scenic water view, wildlife, boat access, ample indoor & outdoor seating, a Tiki Hut and friendly staff. Unfortunately, they hadn't expected more than a few requests for their nightly special and ran out after only a few orders. The waitress was very efficient and eager to please which made the disappointment easier to swallow. They have Happy Hour specials in the bar area but, the topic of conversation between well lubricated locals would prove offensive to most and certainly inappropriate for children. I'm guessing more freedom of speech is tolerated in the off-season when they have to rely on local patrons to carry them through. Overall, the experience was a positive one and we would return on a day the weather permits enjoyment of the outside amenities.

“Two much salt”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2013 via mobile

The cream of crab soup was way over seasoned and very salty. The prime rib looked liked it was steamed and not seared as it should have been. Ordered it medium, but it was way over cooked. The baked potato had the texture of being cooked in a microwave. Very disappointing.
