Some friends and I stayed here for one night recently, and I was very pleased with the staff. I was in town for a funeral and needed an early check in so I could change my clothes. I called that morning to ask, and the room was ready when I arrived at 1:30 PM. The women at the front desk were so pleasant and accomodating. The dining room closes for lunch at 2:00, so after deposiing my luggage in the room I didn't get there until 1:45. Even though I was the only customer and I'm sure that the waitress and hostess wanted to get out of there, they could not have been more pleasant. The room was standard, but clean, and the food was quite good. I would definitely stay there again.

I booked 3 rooms for just one night through Priceline for $48 per room which was a GREAT price. We stopped here just for one night while traveling to the beach. The hotel was nice, easy to find, and clean. The only complaint i have was that i tried to reserve at least one room with 2 double beds and they would not let me do that in advance. When we arrived of course they were out of doubles so we did have one group that had to sleep on the floor. Other than that the place seemed nice. Comfortable bed adn clean shower. I didn't use the amenities so i cannot comment on anything else.

I stayed at this hotel recently for a conference on leadership. There were about 60 of us from our group in attendance and the hotel was great to us. Staff were very helpful, hotel was very clean, bar staff was very friendly and nice, gave us free drinks sometimes when we bought a lot. Food from the bar was great though a bit expensive. Bed was extremely comfortable and bathroom was very good. I am from literally 15 minutes away from this hotel, but stayed here for this conference. I was pleasantly surprised to know such a great hotel was nearby. The location isn't the best as it's surrounded by shopping centers etc. But they offer a shuttle bus to the metro station.

I think this hotel is mostly geared towards business travelers, especially those attending conferences in the area. It was pretty booked just about every night we were there and the bar was always lively. Apparently on weekends it is quite empty. Anyway if I was coming to DC to visit with a family, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here and make use of the shuttle to get into DC. All in all an excellent hotel!

I am staying there right now. Checked-in Tuesday late night. Got a room on the first floor (below the lobby level). It is a dump. Hallway stinks. Room is dark and feels greasy, chair is broken, no power outlets by the desk, hair on the bathroom floor and walls. Wednesday morning I requested to be transfered to another room on another level. The agent said "sure", wrote my request into the book and ... done nothing. When I come back at night they told me that they have no rooms and the manager is not available. Room service put four extra pillow cases on the nightstand -- I guess this is their way to make me feel more comfortably. On Thursday morning cleaning person entered the room without even knocking first. Manager is still unavailable.
