Stayed here for only 1 night and they already showed that their priority was customer service. the place isnt perfect. there were stains on the bed linens and on the bathroom floor tiles in our room. but other than those the room was really clean and spacious. it is unfortunate that there were stains otherwise the rooms would be great. the staff were very very friendly and responded to all our requests. when we had to have one of the staff come up to our room they sent one immediately. the wifi is free with average speed. their location is good because it is not too far from washington dc and there are establishments within walking distance. good enough hotel.

I stayed here while visiting family in Frederick and friends in DC. The wifi is free, though sometimes slow, and they offer a shuttle to the Shady Grove metro station. The rooms aren't anything special, though I appreciated the comfy chair with fold-out desks and a plug for laptop users. The couch was a nice touch, if a bit dated. Some of the features are quite modern (flat screen TV, bedside lamps), while others are a little vintage. There are ample outlets for phones, laptops, etc.

Two things keep me from giving this 5 stars: the air conditioner/heater is a wall unit, not on a thermostat (though there is a thermostat in the wall, which isn't hooked up to anything apparently), and despite the sign in the bathroom saying that they wouldn't exchange our towels if we left them hanging, we got all new towels.

We checked in late to this hotel and left early, so I didn't get the full hotel experience. I'm happy with that, because this place is quite rundown and old. Looks like they need to renovate the rooms.
