“Every show has been great!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2013

I have seen a few shows here and they all have been wonderful! The staff is very pleasant and the food is very plentiful. It's not the best food that I've had, but it will as okay. I think my daughter and I enjoyed the ice cream the best. If you are looking for a good show tho, this is the place to go!!

“You definitely don' go for the food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2013

Toby's is GREAT theater; the shows never disappoint. Aside from the wonderful salad bar, the food is simply okay. You will not leave hungry(good variety of hot dishes. Vegetarians can also find variety). You go to enjoy great theater, not for fine dining.

“Yucky food, so-so service, and a phenomenal performance”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2013

What can I say? The majority of the folks who have written reviews of this place are spot on: the food is borderline gross; the performances are awesome; and the staff could probably use some sensitivity training. Hehe.

Had we purchased full-price tickets, we would have left the restaurant with complaints, but since we had a "BOGO" offer for the "In the Heights" show, we feel that we got what we paid for. But they didn't know we had paid half-price, yet they acted like it.

Our waitress (one of the performers) ignored us the entire night because we didn't think to order an alcoholic beverage at the start of the evening. She thanked each and every table in our section EXCEPT for ours even though we a. never complained, b. never asked for anything, and c. congratulated her on her performance. What is up with that?

It would do you good to know...
1. Ice tea and coffee come with the ticket; soda does not.
2. The earlier you arrive, the faster you get called to the buffet line.
3. Stock up on cheesecake when you have the chance.
4. If you are younger than 50, you will find yourself outnumbered by those who are not.
5. You do not get to pick your seats, nor do you know where you are sitting until you arrive on the night/day of the show.

The wizard of oz was amazing the food was so so. I guess you don't go to a dinner theatre for the food. The production however was awesome

“Great time for everyone”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2013 via mobile

Took a student group there for Fiddler on the Roof and it was a great experience. The waiters and waitress' are the performers and they did a great job of serving us dinner and answering any questions the kids had about the play.
