“Supper followed by Fiddler on the Roof”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013

The serve-yourself food selection was good and the quality was excellent. The staff (actually the actors) were excellent and helpful. A nice, pleasant dining experience.
The show was excellent, up to very high standards. While not a union shop, the actors were top-notch and the singing was wonderful. The characters were highly believable and of course the storyline is legendary. I would recommend this dinner-theater to all ages.

“Fun Night Out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 1, 2013

We had been wanting to check out Toby's for a while but were waiting for the right show and I started following them on Facebook. When I saw that they were doing to do "Fiddler On The Roof", I was excited and when they posted a special buy one/get one free admission for a particular night, I called to book right away! It ended up being $53 total for our food + the show so I thought that was a great deal.

When we arrived, the lobby was crammed full of people waiting to pick up their tickets at the box office. They only had one person working the box office so the line moved slowly and we waited 20+ minutes to get our tickets. Right when we got to the front they added another window but I wish they had done that earlier. That was our only real complaint of the night.

We had a nice floor seat with a great view. We were seated with another couple but they were very nice so that was fine. The tables were very close together but we did have room to move our chairs around to get a better view of the stage after we were done eating.

Once we were seated, our waitress who played Tzeitel, greeted us & told us to help ourselves to the salad bar. They began calling table numbers so that people could go to the hot buffet in an orderly manner without long lines. The food was very good for a buffet. Of course it wasn't on par with a fine restaurant but it was good food and they had a nice variety of items.

The show was excellent. I was very impressed with the quality of the production.

We had a great night and look forward to returning in the future!

“Wonderful Christmas Show”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2013

We went for my birthday (Dec. 19th) for the matinee. We were back in the corner but it really wasn't too bad. This place would get 5 stars if the seating was a little better. The food was excellent. We hadn't been there in 30 years so it was kinda fuzzy what it's like there. The people at our table told us you cannot eat the cheese until they open the buffet which was a bit stupid because to me that should have been part of the salad part. My favorite was the beef stroganoff. We will definitely be going back again. We're also thinking of buying season passes. The show was great. The actors/actresses work very hard at taking care of you during intermission even though they have to get back to the show. Definitely recommend.

“Musical was great, food was average!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2013

We went here with our family on a Sunday night to see A Christmas Carol. The show was performed quite well for a small theater. The wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food they served was average. Some of it was quite tasty and some wasn't so good though they had a wide variety that appeals to all appetites and age groups. This is definitely a family friendly place depending on the show. Another nice thing was that it was a casual environment. Overall we had a good experience and we can't wait to go back and see another show. I only wish that the theater could be redone because you can tell it's getting old. It is also important to call ahead and make reservations as the shows sell out fast.

“Impressive Performance!!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2012

My family recently went to Toby's for it's Sunday Brunch performance. We saw The Color Purple.
My first recommendation would be to have more than one person working the ticket windows..so
people can get sitted quicker. After getting seated, we had to wait a long time to get our food, because we had a higher table number. By the time we got our first plate of food, they were making last call for the dessert bar and we hadn't even had a chance to finish eatting our first
plate from the buffet. Maybe a single plate of a chosen entree would better serve the customers,
rather than paying for a buffet that you really don't have enough time to enjoy, since the calling of tables works fine for the 1st served, but not for the later groups. The musical performance was
excellent. Great acting & singing!!!!!!!!!!!!!
