The neighbor's voice worried me in my room. Wi-fi wave was little weak in my room. It was troublesome for me to input room number and my first name every day. Exception above, is was almost excellent.

This hotel is always quite busy with both business and leisure visitors while maintaining a clean environment and friendly, knowledgeable staff. The hotel is not directly on any major highway so no road noise.

Thank you Hampton for being a great chain... It'd be a little more amazing if, upon arrival, guests that were Hhonors members were greated as such and if their Hhonors number is not on their reservation, the hotel clerk would look that information up really quickly and place it on their reservation. Thanks Much!

This hotel is beautiful and new! The rooms are lovely and quiet. My hotel coffee cup this morning challenged me to give out a compliment today. This is easy to do as the staff is very friendly and helpful. The housekeepers are happy and pleasant. You will not go wrong with this wonderful new hotel.

Great Experience for the 1st time @ this hotel. Wanted a weekend away from the city. Arrived for an early check in with no hassle. Breakfast was prepared and ready when I arrived. The hotel is clean, up to date and quiet. Location perfect, friendly front desk, quiet and clean.

New, clean, friendly, quiet, set back off the main road. What more can I say? We were attending a family gathering in Gambrills, and there were other hotels closer, but after reading LOTS of comments about other hotels, we were very happy we chose this one.

There are some good restaurants within short driving distance, such as Bertucci's, which we liked, but the only one within walking distance that we could find was the Kentucky Fried Chicken in the nice shopping center across the street. There may be more.

NOTE: We flew in to BWI, and our Garmin GPS was of no help at all in finding this hotel. Maybe there is something wrong with our GPS (sister says yes), but the hotel is easy driving to / from the airport, if you get directions before you go, and do not rely 100% on your GPS!

To date, we've had nothing but good experiences at Hampton Inns. This one was no exception. We rented a king suite on the top floor and it was huge, well-equipped and dead quiet. I slept like a rock. Great blackout curtains, too. We had two windows in our room and while the area is hardly the most scenic, we had a nice view of the sunset over the trees every night.

i read some complaints in other reviews about the staff and the housekeeping, but we had no problems whatsoever. We found all the staff we encountered to be cheerful and very helpful! And huge kudos to LINWOOD for making me and my husband smile and laugh every morning at the breakfast buffet. What a friendly, welcoming man!! We enjoyed chatting with him about his farming roots. He is a real asset to this hotel, and made us feel so at home. Give him a raise!

The housekeeping staff did a great job keeping our room clean. No complaints there.

The breakfast buffet was very good. I mean come on, people, it's free! I don't expect haute cuisine at a free hotel breakfast buffet, but this was entirely satisfying. You can eat bacon, or pick something healthier. Every day they had a different menu of eggs, meat, potatoes, etc, plus waffles, oatmeal, grits, cereals, yogurt, fruit and more. t was far from "terrible" as one other reviewer remarked. I also appreciated the 24-hours availability of tea and coffee.

We had a chance to use the fitness centre which was immaculate and well-equipped. I appreciated the towels and the free earphones to use with the treadmills if you want to watch the TVs attached to them. The treadmills were great for running. (We also went for a fabulous run at nearby Elkhorn Lake Park, if anyone is looking for a decent outdoor running trail!)

We didn't use the pool but it looked very clean and surprisingly attractive for an indoor hotel pool. There is even a little outdoor patio next to the pool area which would be nice in warmer weather.

We were in town visiting friends, and I found this hotel to be well-located for the places we needed to get to. It was also easy to zip up to Baltimore from here.

There are lots of conveniences in the area. We enjoyed stocking up our kitchenette with goodies from the Wegmans store 2.5 miles down the road from the hotel.

The only two things I was wishing for were an in-room safe (if there was one there, we couldn't find it!) and an extra trash can in the kitchenette area. Small issues! The place was great and we felt very safe and secure there, and well looked-after.

Oh, and I'd like to see a recycling bin in the room.

No problems whatsoever with our reservation. Lots of parking, everything very well-lit at night.

There is a decent little tuck shop down in the lobby where you can Ben & Jerry's ice cream, beer, and other goodies.

We will stay here again the next time we're in the area, as we visit MD regularly. It was an excellent deal for $92/night.

Linwood, you're the best! :)

Room Tip: We liked the top floor room facing the rear of the hotel. Quiet with a bit of a view!
