It's rare that you see a line out the door at an Indian restaurant. But this one deserves it, especially for the lunch buffet (around $13.00+). I spent several months in India, so I know good, authentic Indian food when I see it. And this is it. You can't get any better. The variety is always excellent and the food freshly made and replenished frequently. In addition to a selection of condiments such as chutneys, pickles, fresh hot chilis, etc., there are new dishes each time you go. At the buffet there is a dosa station where a chef makes fresh dosas (potato filled crepes) on the spot. These are delicious with the green coconut chutney. There are plenty of options for vegetarians, such as dal (lentils) and other dishes. Standards include chicken tikka masala, basmati rice, tandoori chicken, and freshly made naan. On a recent visit they also had a fish curry that was spicy and delicious, and a spicy chicken, peppers and onion dish. Not all of the food is spicy hot, though. And if you want it spicier, you can always add the hot condiments they provide. My favorite accompaniment is the mint chutney (pudina chatni) which is delicious. If you think you don't like Indian food, try this restaurant. You'll change your mind. Everything is very tasty and well prepared. The restaurant itself is bright, spacious and well decorated. As an added bonus, the staff is very friendly and you will be warmly greeted when you arrive. I highly recommend this restaurant.
