We booked this hotel online for 1 week. We are relocating to MD and we were hoping to stay in an extended stay so we would have the option to cook our own meals and not eat out all the time. Unfortunately my husband arrived the night before me and said the hotel seemed "nice", but the bathrooms were dirty. We thought maybe they would clean the room the next day.
I checked in with my daughter the following afternoon and saw just how disgusting these rooms really were. The floors were dirty (carpet had stains, crumbs, and lint), the chairs in the kitchen were so stained/dirty that I saw my husband had put a plastic bag on the seat just to sit down, the closet had a pillow on the dirty floor and when I moved the pillow there was a pink ribbon on the floor (clearly not cleaned or moved since the last person), bathroom mirror was filthy, and shower had hair on the walls and floor. My husband had mentioned the hairs next to the tub that we assumed would be cleaned before I arrived, but apparently the rooms are only cleaned once a week during your stay. I would have thought they would have been cleaned BEFORE our stay as well! I went to the front desk and asked how often the rooms are cleaned. She notified me of this once a week policy. I told her we thought every day (not a big deal), but my husband had noted the dirty room/hair on bathroom floor when he arrived the night before. Could it be cleaned? She told me our room was scheduled to be cleaned tomorrow. NO WAY WAS I SLEEPING IN THE DIRTY ROOM - WHO KNOWS ABOUT THE SHEETS,ETC. Had they offered to clean it it might have been a different story, but they didnt care that a guest was upset about a dirty room. I asked about charges if we checked out early and they did not charge extra. We checked out minutes later. There is a comfort suites 5 minutes away - clean rooms and hot breakfast for about the same price. They also have an indoor pool if it matters. Just dont stay here. The staff was pleasant, but clearly dont care (or know all too well) about their dirty hotel. Stay away... unless you like filth. Just took a few pics - should have taken more - especially the kitchen chairs and more "stuff" on the unvacuumed floor
