“Concert Hall”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2013

I don't like you can't bring your own alcohol. Prefer Wolf Trap all day long. Otherwise it is nice to go for an outdoor show.

“M3 Rock Fest at MPP”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

Merriweather is a great site for M3. The main stage is about the best acoustics you can ask for in an outside venue. The festival stage isn't the greatest but it's adequate. No seating there, standing only.

Overall I always enjoy events at Merriweather but the food is exponentially overpriced..even more so than you'd expect for concerts.

“Good, old Merriweather”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 12, 2013

Love to go to concerts there, and will always, but it is old, and very basic in its style. Compared to the modern concert pavilions, it is like a throwback from a bygone era. Expect a good time, with the concert, music, but don't expect much out of the facility

“Wine Festival”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

If you go for the annual wine festiaval. More then likely it rains that weekend every year and the place becomes a mud stomping ground. I still participate I just wear old clothes and shoes.

“great local venue”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2013

i've been going to merriweather since i was 6 years old. not much has changed except for a vip section and better food and beer choices. love that all my favorite bands play here, its easy to get too, parking isn't bad and its easy to get out of. sound quality is always good and there are no bad seats on the lawn. prices are reasonable for the performances but you will pay 9 bucks a for a beer. i'd eat before you come...food is pricey and not that great. bathrooms can be a little gross and kids can get a little out of control but hey, thats concert life right? this is definitely a fantastic local venue for me and i'm thankful to have it so close by.
