We stayed 4 nights in early April, when Spring still hadn't arrived, but Jennie and Skip gave us a very warm welcome. They have done a great job on renovating and refurbishing the inn and the décor and furnishings are beautiful. They work as a great team in everything, so breakfasts are a smooth operation as they come and go through the swing door. Nothing is too much trouble, with special dietary needs accommodated particularly thoughtfully. Chats with them when they had finished serving breakfast were very enlightening and interesting, with plenty of information and advice about the history of Cambridge and what not to miss while you are visiting the area.
The inn is on a quiet street with lots of trees around and within easy walking distance of the Choptank River and visitor center and the restaurants and shops in the downtown area. We stayed in the Cambridge Suite which has a good sized bedroom, large sitting room and large bathroom, with plenty of storage space everywhere to hide your 'clutter'. The bed was very comfortable, with good quality linens, and there were plenty of towels available. We were able to peek into the other 2 rooms and they were both very nice and spacious enough, even without the extra sitting room. If you want to relax away from your bedroom, there are large guest sitting areas on the first (ground) floor with beautiful furnishings and lots of books about the area.
Even in 4 days we didn't see and do everything on offer in Cambridge and the surrounding area so we plan to return again and will definitely stay at the Mill St Inn!
Light sleepers may want to avoid the Cambridge Suite as the creaky floor at the top of the stairs is...

Thanks for the very nice review. It's easy to be "great hosts" when you have great guests!
