Me and my mom stayed at the Bethesda Marriott from April 14-15, 2011 because I had a big event the next day. There was absolutely nothing wrong there! We arrived, easy drive, and when we arrived at the hotel, they told us to park our car. We went to the parking lot, and you have to use your room key when parking because you have to swipe it down through a toll booth. When we checked in, we didn't even have to go to the front desk! We just went up to the podium with the rug that said "Elite Member". Due to the fact that my family is Platinum for Marriott Rewards, they gave us extra amenities, and access to the concierge lounge. That was the easiest check in I've ever seen! By the way, the hotel is beautiful inside. Its actual class rating should be 4 star. We stayed in room 1424. It wasn't the biggest room I've ever seen, but it was very nice, and more than good enough for us. They even brought us complimentary pretzels and an apple when we got to our room. The bathroom was a little small too, but that was fine. At least there were comfortable beds, and a huge flat screen. It was a very comfortable room. We had a great view. There are 2 pools at the hotel, neither of which we went in, and even a tennis court, which we didn't use. We ate a great breakfast at the concierge lounge. There is a restaurant at the hotel called Agio. We didn't eat there, but it was packed when we got there, and looked fancy. We had a very easy check out. I would definitely stay there again.
