We always enjoy going to the Tako Grill. Service is attentive and knowledgeable. Sushi and sashimi are always fresh and well assembled, though portions may be a bit small. The sake menu is comprehensive, but lacks tasting notes, so you'll have to depend on the advice of the waiter. Tempura and grilled snacks are also very well done. Atmosphere is basic sushi bar. Worth going to if you're in Bethesda.

Love this place for its fresh sushi and other fare. It's a great place for a reasonable and delicious lunch in Bethesda. There is metered parking right out front and the atmosphere is pleasant and minimalist. It's a nice quiet place to meet friends for lunch.

Tako Grill has been serving very fresh fish, beautifully prepared, for many years. The dining room is informal but comfortable, and their quality is on par with the trendy sushi places downtown. There are daily specials; often these are interesting fish and seafood varieties you won't see elsewhere. Where else can you get three different kinds of saba (mackerel)? There is an extensive robatayaki menu (grilled) including fish, meat and vegetable items. They expanded the restaurant a few years ago with an attractive sake bar, offering many good choices.
