From my first drink (French Martini) and the fresh baguette and bread they brought out to the profiteroles for dessert, every step was wonderful. We ordered the baked goat cheese appetizer, which came creamy and was perfectly accented with the garlic bread that came with it. Each of us got a salad and each of us finished our salad - with the appetizer, meal enough but we also each ordered a Steak Bordelaise (complemented by one of their fabulous wines, and the servers are actually knowledgeable about the wines) - this is a must! I was enjoying it so much I dropped my knife off the table and had to get another one (and the steak comes with, as my friend put it "enough fries to feed a village":). I saved half of the steak to bring home with me (along with most of the baguette) and ordered the profiteroles with dessert, along with a glass of champagne. My friend ordered the chocolate mousse, which was oddly disappointing for a French restaurant, but not a sour note - I just remarked that I could have made a better one. So for dessert, stick with the profiterole or daily special. All in all, a really wonderful meal and great service. I want to go back!!
Atmosphere - a little loud as we were in the "front room" which was "near" the bar, but they have two dining rooms further back which are further from the "bar noise" but closer to the kitchen. Either way, it's good.
