“Great Service .... Great Meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2013

Outstanding, friendly, attentive service from our server made us feel right at home in the cozy, little restaurant. There is a decent selection of local beers. The salad was decadent and delicious. The salmon was cooked to perfection. The desserts were amazing. Great value and I would definitely recommend this restaurant for seafood.

“Nice food, great service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2013

Ate here with three friends on a groupon. Food was extremely nice, service even better. Waitress and kitchen catered to various food allergies with attention and imagination, and brought over a complimentary drink for member of the party who could not eat desert (drink was awesome). Chef himself came out to check on us. And they serve the local goat's cheese with ash. All in all, a good experience in a friendly place. Not five stars because tables by door were cold, and area in the back could do with a bit of an interior designer's touch. But this is minor.

“Very good, but not quite...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2013

Overall the food was very good, especially the deserts. The only thing that kept it from being a 5 (at least from this particular experience) was that the trout was not quite as good as I have experienced in other restaurants (especially around Jackson Hole but how can you compete w that?).
I've been here before and the experience was also a solid 4.5+
The service was excellent and the wine by the glass selection was good as well.

“Chef Tony's still excellent”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013

Food there is still top-notch; especially liked the spinach salad with warm bacon dressing. I had the shrimp with linguini and got the mild sauce I requested (menu said spicy); other entree eaten was the sole (rated good). Dessert of banana bread was on the small side, as was the scoop of ice cream that came with it. But after a good-sized salad and entree, a small dessert was quite sufficient for me (woman). Waiter was pleasant with good sense of humor. Service was much improved over last visit, but perhaps going at 6:00 made a difference. Tables (at rear) were rather close together, and the waiter was unable to level ours despite several attempts. Will definitely return for their fixed price menu ($40 each; sometimes Living Social coupon of 2 for $40).

“Enjoyable but...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2013

Overall this was a good experience. Service is great, although I felt like the restaurant was understaffed as it occasionally took a while to get the attention of our waiter. The food for the most part is good with healthy portions.
Pros
1. Appetizers came out quickly
2. The filet satay was flavorful and delicious.
3. The crab soup contained nice chunks of crab meat (pic included)
4. The goat cheese salad was fresh with lots of fresh veges and apples (pic included)
5. Oysters were very fresh (pic included)
6. Cod with sausage, beans, tomatoes and potatoes was fantastic, it was such a great combination of flavors. The cod was very meaty. The sausage was plentiful. The potatoes were crispy. The beans and the tomatoes were great additions. (pic included)
7. The vanilla cheesecake with strawberry malbec topping was wonderful. I didn’t take a picture, I just dived in.
8. Portions are plentiful and main dishes include sides.
9. Prices are reasonable. Four appetizers, two drinks, two main courses and dessert for under $100.

Cons
1. The menu, created daily, indicated catfish was available that day, however, when we ordered it was not available. We were the first dinner group to order so if it was purchased that day we should have been able to order it. No worries, we took the cod instead and it was probably a better choice.
2. My crab cake had lots of bits of hard bone like material which made it very difficult to enjoy eating. With each forkful I had to pick out tiny hard pieces of crab skeleton. That was very disappointing. I did not even finish half of the crab because I was getting annoyed with having to pull out pieces of shell like material. I love crab meat but I couldn’t enjoy these cakes. The crab cake was also over cooked (see pic)
3. Crab soup, while hearty with crab meat, was more like gravy than soup. It was good but the texture was definitely that of lumpy gravy. See attached pictures.
