Second stay at this hotel. Room this time was fancier than the first time - good thing because it was a little run down last time
Shower only, so be sure to ask if you want a tub. Super comfy web. Hotel nicely accommodated our request for connecting rooms, even though we got our rooms on Priceline.

Great self serve breakfast included with healthy and decadent choices. Lovely courtyard garden for when the weather is nice (except that it is also the smoking area). Free mints and bottled water, metro accessible, and the nicest staff I've ever encountered.

A definite recommend if you want a good bargain but don't want a Day's Inn level place. I would definitely stay here, and would recommend it to my parents.

This is a very good boutique hotel on a busy street in Bethesda. The location was convenient to good restaurants, the Metro, shops, and services. The staff was helpful in every circumstance--printing a document, suggesting restaurants, helping get SmartTrip cards, recommending a mani-pedi place, getting a limo to the airport. Lovely courtyard for breakfast. We very much enjoyed our stay.

This hotel is run by Brandon Butler who has been very accommodating with my bookings for 10 Police Survivors from the UK attending Police week . I had to make adjustments to the booking nothing was too much trouble. He and his staff were very friendly and extremely helpful getting us the cheapest 10 seater bus as well for a trip. The hotel was very clean, rooms were comfortable and a range of breakfast items for a continental breakfast which could be taken in a small dining area or in a nice landscaped garden where you could also take drinks and takeaways. Chocolate on arrival a nice touch and water available daily. All in all highly recommended and hopefully we will use again. Convenient for metro, American diner and nice restaurants one block away

Lovely clean hotel, small but comfortable. Good for the metro to sight see the city.
Brandon is the manager, he is a very helpful, welcoming guy.
There is a small sunny garden that is great to take your breakfast or take away meal into to enjoy.
Would recommend if you are looking for a reasonably priced small hotel.

Really we'll located for metro, rooms are large and comfortable with excellent facilities. Breakfast was limited but really fresh and there's a great Diner just around corner. Staff were helpful and even supply complimentary soap powder for on site laundry facility. Highly recommend a stay here.

This hotel is only a few blocks from the metro, and an easy ride into DC. The hotel was fully booked while we were there, and the weather was cold, so we couldn't take advantage of breakfast outdoors, and the breakfast room is tiny and crowded. Not much to say about the food-it's nothing special, but will get you on the road without having to stop at a cafe. The first night we had a room over the parking lot, which had traffic noise early in the morning. We asked for a change, and they were very accommodating, even moving our luggage for us so we could enjoy our day without worrying about it. Very nice front desk staff, tiny lobby, but the room over the patio was really nice. Would go again.

Room Tip: Ask for the second floor over the patio

I drove to Bethesda to participate in a study at the NIH, tacking on a day in DC. This was the perfect place to stay. Much more reasonably priced than bigger nearby hotels. Clean with comfortable beds and pillow choices.

Parking is only $15 for the day in a lot at the hotel. There's a free shuttle to and from NIH. The metro is a couple blocks away and a short trip to DC. There are many good restaurants within walking distance, including the fine Woodmont Grill across the parking lot.

I got a two double bed room (slightly cheaper) and the fairly large room had a little writing desk, an occasional chair and a big dresser. The bathroom was sparkling clean, the water pressure good and plenty of hot water. Traffic noises were muted. Sometimes I could hear my neighbor's voice through the walls, but never the TV. There's treadmill and a elliptical trainer in the workout room on level 2.

The staff is very friendly and many people staying here were going to NIH.

There's a free basic breakfast (dry cereal, breads, sweet pastries, fruited yogurts, boiled eggs) plus a Keurig coffee/tea brewer in the room, a dorm-sized refrigerator, and a microwave. They only have camomile tea for the brewer, but a good tea selection at breakfast.
