“POPCORN!!!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

What better way to complete your check in than with some fresh popcorn? TRICK QUESTION! There is no better way!!!

Without the free popcorn, this was a 2 star review. The place was clean, the staff was not mean. The parking was slightly difficult due to the tight spaces and low height.

Great Location on the heart of Bethesda, close to movie theaters, two blocks away of many restaurants and shops. The hotel has a great included breakfast, comfortable rooms, internet access and a complete fitness center Overall a very good value.

The hotel is fine - clean rooms, reasonable facilities, everything works - except the door to the parking lot behind. You need to swipe your key to get into the hotel, but it never worked for us. Or various other people whose keys didn't work either. One couple said it never worked! After banging on the door for a while a guest waiting at reception came and opened it. Pity really. Everything else about the hotel is fine and the location is good. And they offer breakfast in a bag at the check-out if you are in a hurry. Nice touch.

Good rooms, quiet, good internet, and close to Metro, as well as many good restaurants in downtown Bethesda, as well as Whole Foods and Trader Joe's. Would go back again--perfect spot as a base of operations for DC. Metro to museums time was less than 30 minutes.

This is one of many hotels in Bethesda that caters to mostly business activity. Indeed the company we work for is in the building attached to the hotel. The rooms are spacious, well equipped, free WiFi, a mini fridge and perhaps best of all adjustable firmness super comfortable beds. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The printer was down in the business center and the reception staff made the extra effort to print and scan some of my documents. Combine all of this with easy parking, a 200 meter walk to the metro, and over 200 restaurants within walking distance makes this a great place to stay.

We are moving to the DC Metro Area soon and have made two trips to get things in order. First, we stayed at the Embassy Suites at Friendship Heights, thinking we would treat ourselves. On our second stay, we were at the Hilton Garden Inn. I have to say, I'd take the Garden Inn in Bethesda over the Embassy Suites in Friendship Heights any day of the week. Garden Inn was cleaner, quieter, and a much better value for the price. The HHonors customer service counter definitely could use friendlier/more knowledgeable staff, but I'm sure that's something that Hilton is working on.

Excellent hotel overall. Very clean and comfortable, with a great location and helpful staff. Only negative is the outdated and poorly designed parking garage - it was very difficult on a Friday afternoon to negotiate checking in while all the regular users of the garage (those working in the area) were leaving. (The garage was fine and uncrowded on the weekends.) We paid the advance purchase internet price ($105 per night) and felt we got a tremendous value for such a luxurious, lovely hotel in a great area.
