We had dinner here on Saturday. It was bustling. Our waiter was a lovely young man and make us feel very welcome. We are hummus fans and the plain here is delicious, with piping hot pita. You might try poking a few holes in pita with a fork to let the steam escape. We both had a mixed kabob - chicken, lamb and kafta (pressed lamb/beef). Served with yummy rice and grilled veggies, the chicken is probably the most succulent you'll find anywhere in the DC area and the Kafta is tasty and nicely spiced. The lamb was a little tough but still good. The portions are very generous and we had enough to take home for lunch the next day. It tasted as good if not better! The decor is very relaxing. It boasts a assortment of attractive lanterns placed on shelves separating the dining room sections. Very nice idea and I'd love to get my hands on a couple of the lanterns. All in all, an excellent meal. Thank you.
