Well appointed with vintage wood carved detailing, this bed and breakfast will delight design connoisseurs. A central stair is a room itself; the home is decidedly one for entertaining. Porches and terraces give relaxing views of the wooded site and are a good way to start the day. The kitchen has an ideal catering kitchen layout and offers quiet repose. Victuals include fresh Greek yogurt, organic milk, tasty (store bought but still very good) muffins and pastries, cereal and OJ. Would have liked to see more fruit as an option. Bed is very comfortable and each room has its own heating/cooling controls. Bathroom is light and roomy. Entire house is white glove clean and neat. Owners are welcoming and know the best way in and out of DC, best of the city any time of day or night. Sweet cat, Lorenzo, is an ambassador and emissary.
