How sad that a restaurant in Bethesda can offer such overpriced poorly prepared food and remain open!! We had heard that we could have a meal based on OUNCES of protein (thus the original pronounciation of the restaurant... The O-Z). However this is no longer the premise of this venue. Instead, it is a fairly run of the mill menu for over inflated prices. My salad which was described as greens with heritage tomatoes consisted of several lettuce leaves covering 3 slices of an over ripe hot house tomato. At $7, this was a pricey start. It was downhill from there. I had 4 small slices of sashimi... think approx 2 inches long and thin. At $10... not insane and not awful but certainly overpriced. My husband had a tomato soup at $7 and then an overpriced (maybe $20) piece of very overcooked, very fishy tasting salmon served with an incongrous sweet sauce and some greens. We complained about the change in the concept of the restaurant and the food; we were offered nothing other than the explanation that "the menu has just changed". Our waiter, friendly and affable, seemed to be the only server in this poorly attended dining room. We will not be back.
