Set in a small shopping complex, it's easy to miss it, but am glad I made the effort to find it after reading positive reviews. Very friendly efficient service in a modest venue. Menu has plenty of veggie options and my dish was very nice, a good combination of taste and freshly cooked food, as opposed to some of the warmed up bland rubbish I've eaten nearby.

This restaurant inhabits an unassuming corner of a Bethesda shopping center underneath Trader Joe's, but they are doing some good work here. As you step up to the counter you can see multiple pans going in the kitchen, not a deli counter of oily curries like at an average take-out Indian joint. We ordered and paid at the register, but the staff delivered our beer, padadum, onion kulcha, and the rest of our dinner. The curries looked and tasted freshly prepared, not at all oily. We even received a complimentary sweet rice dessert. The meal was a great value; dinner for two including two beers cost around thirty bucks. They do takeout/delivery too, so we'll be seeing them again.
