I live in New Jersey, near New York City. I travel into the city to work every weekday. The lifestyle here is not what I grew up with. I grew up in a small Penna. town where people care about each other as well as the community itself. I miss it very much.
I came to Bel Air in April to look for a long lost acquaintance. I did not find him, however I had a great weekend. I enjoyed talking to some of the Colonial Encampment people, walking about parts of town, antique shopping and finding a place that is quiet and laid back and comfortable. I like being among friendly, caring, wholesome and genuine poeple like those I grew up with. In Bel Air I find an atmosphere I look forward to enjoying when I retire. I liked my trip there so much that I rturned again in May just to enjoy a good weekend alone.
I almost hate to tell anyone about Bel Air. I don't want to see it change. The people there have a hidden treasure that in some ways I hope never gets found.
