“Fun stop for the family”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2013

We stopped at this bridge on the way up north and it was a surprisingly fun time. The bridge is unique and fun as it bounces as you walk over it. It crosses a tidal pool. The children loved watching the tide roll out. The Steedman Trail Loop was a easy hike. There were numerous flowers along the path including Lady Slippers. Good stretch of the legs on a car ride.

“Fun for a walk or run”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2013

At low tide kids can look for crabs under the bridge. The woods are a cool break in the hot summer. See the real Maine!

“Lovely spot”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

I nice quiet walk to the wiggly bridge or a dip in the ocean is a great way to spend an afternoon. A fun spot to picnic or just quietly read a book.

“Very wiggly especially if you jump up and down”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2013

You can park on Route 103 right by the entrance of the causeway across to the suspension bridge. Very convenient to access. Have to be careful crossing 103--there is a crosswalk and you should use it. The walk through the woods is a short loop and you can add a longer loop to that one to make it probably a 3/4 mile round trip. We saw a few people walking late afternoon one cool day so it wasn't totally desolate. Nice views of lake and quiet peaceful surroundings.

“Quiet pathway”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2013

I liked the wiggly bridge but found the pathways kind of boring. For those looking for an easy, quiet stroll with pets or something this is perfect.
