“Great staff & great location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2012

I have summered in York since 2009 and always find myself back at the 123 for a tasty lunch with the best view in town, or at the bar for a quick drink (don't forget to stop by for happy hour from 3-5 to enjoy some music also) when I need to get out of the sun. The staff is always pleasant and helpful and it is a great place for families. The food seems to be better this year as well - more attention to detail and wonderful seafood entrees. When in York make sure to stop by the 123, you'll be happy you did!

I was just planning a night of dinner and drinks. we found the 123 restaurant last minute after deciding to take drive to beach. The service was great, food delicious, staff and atmosphere unlike any place I've been in a long time. after eating dinner we didn't want night to end or drive back. our waiter attached a pamphlet to our bill showing rooms they had upstairs we didn't even know about. he gave us a tour of facility and we were sold. room was clean ,cozy, and comfortable and even had temperpedic beds. so we stayed and had a great experience. I would definitely recommend to others to stop by. we are going back again and again. thanks 123 for doing it right!!!!!! see you soon Thanks to everybody that works there to make this a great place!

Room Tip: every room has a great view from what i can see. have them show you around. Its worth it. they even...

We just got back from the 123 Inn and had a fabulous time. The staff was extremely accomadating, pleasant and FUN!!! The rooms are all ocean front and the views are incredible. The food/price are average for the area. I had the baked stuffed haddock and it was delicious. The Bar and drinks are fabulous...Thanks to the staff for a fun filled week...

Room Tip: 3rd floor best view

A group of of us have spent off season weekends here for many years, going back to the Inn at Long Sands. No offense to prior owners, but the current group is much more involved and very interested in making sure we enjoy our stays. The 'rock star' label only clues you in to the energy that each employee puts out - very helpful and positive. We always stay on the 3rd floor and truly love the change in decor that came with the new owners as well. We like to get silly and play games so book rooms in a group so as not to bother other guests. The lounge and restaurant are good options - not fancy but good value for the cost. This is not a fancy place but is quite comfortable and has gorgeous view of the ocean (directly across the street) and partial Nubble. We look forward to this trip yearly and have booked our fall stay. PS As far as the Cutty Sark goes - no private balcony and more expensive. The rooms are big enough for us to gather in - how big does a room have to be?!

Room Tip: Third floor best views. Nice store nextdoor if you want a quick lunch/pizza or subs/baked goods, cof...

I am totally shocked to hear any negative reviews on this place! I feel sorry for the people who complained about such a wonderful place, they must not enjoy life very much. Relax and learn to enjoy life a little people!...It is hard not to relax in York Beach, such a beautiful town with beautiful people. I have been going there my whole life (before the 123 Inn it was the Long Sands Inn) and the new owners have done so much to improve this perfect spot directly across from the most gorgeous beach. The owners and manager are always concerned about your comfort and how you’re enjoying your stay, the staff is funny and friendly, the food is incredible and fresh (fast too!). It is great for couples looking for a romantic weekend or a little fun on the weekend and great for families too. The manager Shonna is so sweet she is always making sure our boys feel special and are well taken care of...The 123 will always hold a special place in my heart!

My husband and me stayed at the 123 inn for 3 nights. First of all we love York Beach! It is our favorite vacation spot. The people are so nice in this town!
The 123 inn is just awesome. We stayed in room 2. Very nice looking room, absolutely clean, shower has good pressure for hotel, room is good size, big fridge, flatscreen tv, beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony and right near all the nice little shops (must visit The Little Bull if you like Native American goods or just want a special and very different gift). The staff is friendly! The breakfast is sooo good, especially the grilled blueberry muffins and the breakfast burrito. The chicken tenders and fries are crispy and taste super. The cocktails are awesome, our favorite: The Fish Bowl! :-)
The A/C worked good, but was a little noisy at night. My husband and me fall asleep easy so it didn't bother us. There was no other noise though although our room was right above the bar!
This was an awesome stay and we will definitely be back. I can only recommend this inn to anyone who is planning to stay in York Beach.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the 123 Restaurant Inn recently and loved the ocean view from our balcony. We've only been to York one other time and stayed at the Cutty Sark which also has a great view. The prices are about the same but the Cutty Sark was nicer all-around if you're looking for a romantic weekend.
I thought our room was ok but overpriced for how small it was, and my boyfriend kept saying he didn't like the smells coming from the kitchen & restaurant when we sat on the balcony. We would have complained, but it wouldn't have made a difference if we changed to another room anyway, and we didn't want to ruin our weekend and just wanted to enjoy the beach.
