“Worth a day trip”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2014

Took a questionable weather day and made a day trip to Wiscasset. Had a good time looking through the antique shops. The weather did cooperate for walking the streets after all. Highlight of our day was Sarah's Café. Even sitting inside, the views are great by the water, and the food is very good as well. Fresh haddock is served in a variety of ways, as well as other dishes, including lobster, and my wife and I both were quite satisfied (and full) with our choices. Desserts also worthy of partaking. We would return.

“Average, But Still Very Nice”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2014

We missed breakfast & decided to pass on waiting in line for food at Red's. So, we stopped at Sarah's Cafe. Service was prompt & friendly. Haddock chowders was fine, but bland. The Yard Arm special was well prepared & tasty, but . . . bland too. Our daughter's children's menu spaghetti was ample & seemed very well received. This isn't a stand out dining option, but it was a perfectly acceptable, comfortable & welcomed spot to eat.

“Disappointing”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2014

The food was very bland. We ordered it to go, and they initially forgot our soup, and didn't include any condiments for the hamburger. We had to add seasoning to everything we ordered. This would be a good place for someone with a sensitive palate. It made sense that there were mostly older people there when we arrived.

“Too bad”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2014

too bad the food is so ordinary, as this is a place that could relieve some of the dreadful back up on rte 1 through Wiscasset caused by Red's Eats, which is a major problem in the summer months, BUT the food is so ordinary and that's the best you can say. Nothing bad. There should be a rating between poor and average for this place, because nothing we had was bad, jusy nothing good

“Mixed of Average and Very Good.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2014

Went here after deciding the line for Red's Eats was way too long. We did take out to sit outside near the water. We had the lobster salad sandwich, which was delicious and filled with big chunks of lobster. We also had the lobster grilled cheese, it was good but wish the cheese was a little stronger Swiss or maybe Havarti. Friendly, fast service.
