“Great and consistent food for an extraordinary price perched over the Sebasticook river”
I have been going to Bee's diner for probably 1-1/2 years. I really like the people who work there and the owners. Jimmy is a hard-working and personable guy. The place is really neat. It is perched over the Sebasticook river right before it tumbles into the Kennebec. What a neat spot. If you like character, this place has it. My daughter visited and had to go back once again for a great Western Omelet. The specials are all good. On Wednesday they have Mac-n-Cheese that is the best since they use cheddar cheese. I often get 4 eggs over easy (yea 4), potatoes, bacon, and a tomato juice and the price is extraordinary. If you are traveling up/down RTE 95, just go east via the Kennedy Memorial Drive or Maine Street and find the bridge to Winslow...take a right and it is right across from Cumberland Farms. Before entering, take a look down at the Sebasticook, at the train trestle bridge, and across to Halifax Park which contains a pre-Revolutionary British fort. Jeff-P
