We stayed at the Hampton Inn this past weekend expecting to relax, enjoy the pool, have some peace and quiet. Fat chance of that happening. We waited a week a week longer for our trip because of school vacations. It was a little disconcerting to find a hotel full of screaming, yelling girls running up and down the corridors all hours of the night. We brought our complaints to the staff at the front desk. One woman shrugged her shoulders and said there wasn't much they could do. It appears that the hotel is more interested in booking their rooms without caring about the rest of the patrons. If this is the attitude of the management, we will never be staying here again.
Surely when such a large group books in with approximately 50 small children, the management needs to inform the other guests that such a group is at the hotel when booking.
Shame on Hampton Inn. There a plenty of other properties in the area. This is not a $39.00 a night place. I expect more from the Hilton group.
What a disappointing weekend.
