I have eaten at Horizon's for breakfast several times. They have several breakfast combos named after playing cards (King, Queen, Jack) as well as a variety of a la carte items. It is a family-owned diner, and is everything you would expect a family-owned diner to be. They serve eggs, bacon, pancakes, oatmeal, fruit cup, coffee, tea, toast, and juice. Standard fare, nothing fancy, no frills, no thrills. Compared to nearby Congdon's, the prices here are a bit lower, and the wait is significantly shorter as well, possibly because Horizons is on the Mile Road, not on Route 1. They have a nice sized parking lot because it is a motel too, and I have never had a problem finding a spot quickly. The service and food are fine; no complaints, nothing to write home about. What you see is what you get, and Horizon's doesn't have any surprises up its sleeve. If you're looking for a place to grab breakfast before hitting the beach later in the morning, this is a great choice; give it a try.
