Stayed here in October as part of my birthday weekend- we usually go abroad but decided on a staycation this year staying at 3 different hotels and we were not disappointed- On arrival we were shown to our room which is separate from the main building, it has a comfy bed and large bathroom. When Scott(general Manager) found out it was my birthday I was given a lovely bottle of sparkling wine and a bowl with very fresh strawberries and raspberries, what a treat!!!.
Breakfast is more than adequate and Dinner was nice too-one gripe that I think has been mentioned by others is that you are given a separate menu from other guests-but we found something on both nights to eat that we enjoyed. The Inn is approx 5 miles from St. Andrews, if you don't want to drive there is a bus which passes every hour across the road, you just flag it down which is great as it means we could have a couple of drinks while we were there. If you prefer you can get a taxi which is roughly £13.
I would recommed Inn at Lathone and hope to return soon.
