I have been going to the East Wind Inn for many years for their superb breakfast and 4 star dinners. Sadly, the owner passed away and the Inn was sold. I am overjoyed to say that the new owner, along with his manager, have revitalized the Inn. They remodeled, redecorated and updated the entire Inn and, of great importance, are adding a brand new tavern to be opened sometime in late June 2013. What I really appreciate was that after the remodeling was finished, the feel, appearance and charm of the "old" Inn is still there in every respect. The construction and design were handled sensitively, beautifully and it is still the quintessential Maine coast Inn. At the open-house we toured the Inn and the rooms are simply perfect, the main entry is what one pictures when you think of such a place. We have had breakfast and dinner there since they opened in June 2013 and can say you will love the fare, the staff, the chef and the ambiance.
