This place is a must! Everything is fresh. They even brew the iced tea fresh., by the glass. That's rare. Great attention to detail. This isn't just lobstah, lobstah, lobstah. The ingredients are all locally sourced, prepared properly and with great care. This was the best meal on MDI.

We stumbled on Red Sky after spending a day exploring the nooks and crannies of Mt. Desert Island. From the greeting at the door to our departure it was a pleasure to eat at Red Sky. The tastes were well-balanced, the service excellent and the atmosphere just right. I called ahead to find out the dress code since it was under "fine dining" in our "Moon" guide - they sasid people sometimes dress up a bit and others will come in dressed in shorts and t-shirts. We were somewhere in between and were totally comfortable. Receommended without reservation (double entendre, I know).

These folks get it right. We would go there again and again. It's a little pricey, but you leave feeling special.

Everything about this place was wonderful. This is a required stop for any traveler that is seeking gourmet food and fine wine. Elizabeth and her staff were truly incredible hosts.
