I heard out about the Inn from an ad my mother saw in a magazine. What I found convenient about the Inn was that I could make all of my decisions with one person. It felt personable as I made choices and plans for the big day. On the day of the wedding however, things were not exactly as they were "confirmed" a few weeks before. Example: We had talked about having three bars open during the reception, and on that day they only had one open. Now this may not seem like a huge tragedy but some of my guests had to wait in line for over 45 minutes for a drink. Also, we had talked about corsages for the grandparents, and they didn't end up having them done for them that day.
I felt nervous and anxious the night before because I wasn't exactly sure how the ceremony would go. I also was a little let down with the quality of the flowers. They did not keep them in a cool enough room and some of them were beginning to brown. The ceremony was beautiful (we lucked out- the day was gorgeous). The food was good, but wasn't very warm (need to work on the buffet!!) . I was happy we decided to bring in our own DJ. The cake was the best part!!
In the grand scheme of things I enjoyed my wedding day, however that is in most part due to the DJ we hired and the open bar. If you are flexible and are looking for a simple wedding planning process I would recommend the Inn (price is good too). I do not recommend this venue for brides who would like a lot of control over their wedding.
