“Blueberry tea & popovers”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2012

We visited on a rainy day in June and still chose to sit outside. The fog limited the view but it actually added something to the scenery. We had soup, popovers, and tea. The popovers are so light and fluffy and amazing with jam. I had the most amazing blueberry tea and I wish I would have purchase some for home because I have yet to find anything close to that tea and I don't normally like blueberries. The outdoor seating is also pet/dog friendly and we found the waitstaff very helpful. It is a bit pricey, but I would go again!

“Excellent Food, Service and Atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2012

We eat our "anniversary dinner" here every year. We love the complete meal deal that includes popovers, chowder (the best anywhere), entre and dessert. It's an excellent value and you won't leave hungry. Their popovers are the best too. And I have never had better ice cream anywhere. It's very rich though. Don't eat here if you're on a diet! Excellent always!

“Jordan Pond House”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2012

A Popover followed by the cheddar and ham sandwich really hit the spot after the 3 mile hike around Jordan Pond. Desert was a popover filled with vanilla ice cream and covered with blue berries. The view is beautiful and the food excellent. Get there early because the restaurant can get very crowded. What a great way to spend half a day.

“Beautiful view and popovers!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2012

Don't miss tea and popovers at the Jordan Pond House. We ate lunch there, too. Tomato basil soup isn't cream-based. It's more like a vegetable soup but was quite good. Hummus sandwich was OK. Cranberry Island Salad was outstanding with the citrus dressing- highly recommend. And you can't beat the beautiful scenery of Acadia National Park.

“GREAT VIEW/POPOVERS OTHER STUFF NOT SO GREAT”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2012

The Popovers and lemonade are highly recommended. Lunch not so great. Sandwiches do not have enough meat in them and salads are small for the price. Our dinner experience has been only fair and It is very pricey. Service only ok. For the price they charge you should get better service and more food. A little disappointed!
