Spent a recent weekend get away in Portland Maine. Chose this hotel based on a special Marriott weekend special offer that made the price very attractive.
No issues at all with the hotel. It was a typical Fairfield Inn, nice enough rooms in good and clean condition. Bathroom clean. Decent limited continental breakfast.
Yes, the elevator is in sort of a weird locatiion but no a big deal.
Location is close to Rte 95, the airport and the Maine Mall. Not close to downtown Portland - which is about 6 miles away.
Would stay here again if price was favorable.

The hotel is one of the older Fairfield Inns. The corridors and the rooms were updated, but the lobby still had the old Fairfield Inn decor. Which is much nicer than most mid-priced hotels.The hotel was very clean and well kept. There were very little signs of wear. The staff were very friendly and and helped us select a place to eat that was close to the hotel. The beds were very comfortable and had the new marriot bedding. Continental breakfast was the typical Fairfield Inn continental breakfast which offered an array of cereals, yogurt, and the Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich. The outdoor pool was well kept and towels were provided. There was a computer in the lobby. The hotel also offered a hospitality cart in the lobby the night we stayed. Some items that were included were shampoo, shaving creme, cookies, and travel games. All these items were complimentary. We got an excellent rate through roomsaver.com at $65.00. Well worth the price, even at the regular rates of about $100.00 during the summer.

I booked two rooms in this hotel for a weekend away with a bunch of girlfriends. It is an older Fairfield Inn, but very clean and well kept. The staff was super polite and accommodating. 5 minutes after we checked in the staff called our rooms to make sure everything was OK and see if we needed anything else.

A complimentary cart comes around once a day with water, snacks and basic toiletries, I thought this was a nice touch. There is also a complimentary breakfast with tons of option. There is free fruit and cookies throughout the day as well.

The hotel is about a half a mile from the Portland Mall and 5 minutes from the Old Port. The staff completely went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

I was hesitant booking this hotel as it ranks 8/10 on this website. However, it was inexpensive and thought we would give it a try although I was leary after reading the reviews. It is a bit strange of a lobby-elevators going upstairs are outside the lobby door and you use your keycard to go up in the elevator.

Arrived for one night stay. Staff was friendly. Room was adequate. Older property but linens were updated and carpet and walls appeared fresh. Located right by the Maine Mall and area seems quite safe as well. They do provide a hot continental breakfast and also from 4-6 area have a snack and soda pop complimentary. They also have complimentary fruit 24 hours and a cart by the front desk with all sorts of snack foods on it out throughout the evening hours - chips, cookies, etc). (these are the things my kids find important when traveling !!).

We actually didn't end up staying for the night. After checking in we went out for dinner, came back and our daughter took a bath. It turned out there was a winter storm warning coming in overnight and I decided since we were flying home next day that it was best to be closer to the airport in Portsmouth. The hotel did let me out of the reservation but it did cost me $50. They didn't have to do so and so it was appreciated.

Don't go here expecting anything posh but it is a decent , older Fairfield Inn with nice staff and is convenient to freeways. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. It's good for what it is - inexpensive accomodations.
