Description: The Run of the Mill is an English Style Brew Pub. We offer 7 beers at a time and rotate those between the 25 different varieties that we offer. Our menu includes traditional meals such as Fish and Chips, Pot Roast and Bangers and Mashed Potatoes. We offer daily specials and non-traditional fare, including many steak, fish and even vegetarian options. The Run of the Mill is family and local oriented and we strive to use local farmers, bakers and fishermen. In addition to great food, great beer and a full bar, we have live music Thursdays, Saturdays and Sunday afternoons at 4pm, as well as an open mic night on Tuesdays. Music starts at 8pm and goes till 11pm. We offer a large deck over looking the beautiful Saco River, a separate outside menu including incredible Fish Tacos and some great Grilled Pizzas.

“Huge portions...Delicious!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2013

We had 3 options..to wait 60 minutes to be seated outside, 30 minutes inside, or we could eat in the bar . We opted for the bar and were not disappointed..Within 5 minutes we had our clam chowder (outstanding ) and in another 10 minutes we had our meal..The fish piece was huge and that was half a portion..the fries were crispy and fresh..I didn't care too much for the cold slaw. My husband had the Shepherd's Pie which was bubbly hot with wonderful garlic mashed potatoes on top..over all, we will go back. It was a delicious meal! Our waitress ,Samantha, was efficient, cute and had a neat personality. She was serving a lot of people at the sme time. The place filled up quickly so go early. We were there around 6:00p.m.

“Great atmosphere and fine food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2013

On vacation and wanting a brew pub, this place fit the bill nicely. First, the beer. We chose a light beer, the Bug Lager. Nice name, smooth and refreshing - no national chain taste. I had the ribs. Falling off the bone, but soft, tasty BBQ sauce, not much fat, a real surprise. My wife had the fish tacos - very tasty. The music was fine, not too loud. The waitress was attentive, but not intrusive. We sat outdoors on a huge deck and it was a very pleasant evening. And the bill was reasonable. All in all, a fine option for an evening in Saco.

“Best Haddock ever... great selection of crafted brews...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2013

Went to the Run of the Mill for the third time last week. If you're looking for a nice lunch with a great selection of locally crafted brews, you are in heaven. Absolutely the best piece of fried Haddock I have ever had, it is awesome. Comes in two sizes. Throw in the fires, a nice sized cole slaw, and one of their many beers and you are set. Typical comfort food options, nice setting on the river with outdoor seating, and music every now and then make this a definite stop everytime I'm in the Kennebunk area.

“Great beer, great food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2013 via mobile

We were guided to this restaurant/brewery by our trip advisor app. The three beers we tried were all excellent, especially the summer wheat. The crab cakes were amazing as was the chowder. We also ordered the shrimp and scallop kabobs - delish! We ran into a couple there doing a vacation tour of New England breweries and they also raved about the beer and food. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the atmosphere.

“Had a great time!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2013 via mobile

Just got home from a great night out. We started at run of the mill and it was great then went down to kennebunkport. We were sat outside - we were asked if we wanted inside or out an we chose outside- and the table was perfect! Just on the edge of the covered patio blocking the direct sun with a great view.

We were greated by Mary our server very promptly and friendly and got some drinks. She told us about the specials and we got mussels, salad, scallops, and ribs! Great portions, tasted amazing, and friendly service!! We will be back!
