This was our first visit - we couldn't get a table on previous visits to Rockport. The location on Rockport harbor is stunning and the restaurant is located in a lovely old building. It has bags of charm. But, when it is full and lively, which is probably most of the time, it is very noisy. We couldn't carry on a conversation and this spoiled it for us. The food was very good -- the grilled pork steak Oriental style was excellent, but the ribs were only okay. The dishes come without sides and adding enough to round out a meal quickly adds to the bill. We visit the Camden/Rockland/Rockport area frequently and have eaten at a number of restaurants, but Shepard's Pie is far from becoming one of our favorites. We are unlikely to go there again.
