This was our first visit to David's and were lucky to be seated without a reservation at 8:30 on a Saturday night. We took a table in the bar area, which was lively with conversation. I ordered a glass of Bordeaux, which was delicious and a very generous "pour." With the prices of wine by the glass these days, it was refreshing to see.
Our food was a tad disappointing. My pizza had a crust the style of which I'm not fond: almost a motzah consistency, which I know is a regional style, just not my favorite. There were globs of veggies on it, but none stood out. I took most of it home, but threw it out the next day. My husband had their burger, which looked fantastic and tasted great, but he was upset later. It could just be that it was too much meat at one sitting, and not a fault with the burger itself. Overall, we loved the atmosphere, staff was exceptionally friendly and we would try it again.
