“Food packs a wallop of flavor ... Too bad the service wasn't up to par”
Went in there for brunch on a Saturday morning without reservations. We were told that the empty 4 top and deuce were reserved so that we could only sit at the bar or high top. We sat at the high top, ordered our drinks and watched two other tables come in and have their orders taken before ours.
Another deuce opened up. We asked to move and were initially told that they needed that table for reservations. After awhile, they let us sit there because they didn't need the table for another hour.
As for the food ... My wife had the eggs Benedict and was one of the best she has ever had. Substituting the English muffin with a sweet potato pancake was ingenius. I had a sausage and egg sandwich with carmelized onions that packed a punch of flavor.
By the way, the open deuce when we first walked in ... Never occupied.
